Vibe Prospecting AI Review 2026: Data Quality, Pricing, Verdict

Kushal Magar

By Kushal Magar · October 10, 2026 · 10 min read

Key Takeaway

Vibe Prospecting AI is very good at one thing: turning a prompt into a filtered company and contact list. It is weaker on documented email verification, intent depth and outbound handoff, since there is no native CRM sync. Our rating: 3.7/5. Best for research-heavy, bursty prospecting inside Claude. Less suited to always-on outbound.

Vibe Prospecting AI lets you describe an audience in plain English and get back a list of matching companies and contacts. It is fast and the Explorium data behind it is broad. It is weaker on proven email verification, deep intent signals and getting leads into your CRM. Our rating: 3.7/5.

This is the hands-on review in our Vibe Prospecting cluster. If you are new to the product, start with what Vibe Prospecting is, then check whether Vibe Prospecting is free.

We built this review from the vendor's own pricing page, Explorium's developer docs, Capterra and published vendor claims. We label vendor numbers as claims, and we did not run a controlled bounce test.

Vibe Prospecting AI Review: The Short Verdict

  • Strong: prompt-based list building and account research with up to 1,000 results per query.
  • Unproven: email accuracy. The vendor claims under 2% bounce, but publishes no method or independent test.
  • Thin: intent. Business events are useful, but true intent levels are premium and older events may be missed.
  • Missing: native CRM sync and outbound sequencing. You export CSVs and move the data yourself.
  • Pricing: 200 free credits per month, then one-time packs from $29.90 for 900 credits.

How Vibe Prospecting AI Works

Vibe Prospecting runs as a connector inside Claude or ChatGPT. You type a request, it queries Explorium's database, and it shows a preview before anything is exported.

There is no separate dashboard. The chat is the interface, which is why it pairs well with the Vibe Prospecting Claude setup.

Per the Explorium developer docs, the flow is match, preview, enrich, then export. Exports never run automatically, and you approve the credit cost first.

List Building From a Single Prompt

List building is the best part of the product. A prompt like “Series B SaaS companies in the US, 50 to 200 employees, hiring SDRs” maps onto 20+ company and prospect attributes without you touching a filter UI.

Previews show 5 to 10 entities so you can sanity-check the filters before spending credits. A reference table lets you refine earlier results without re-fetching them.

The ceiling is 1,000 results per query. Bigger lists need split queries, which gets clumsy for teams building TAM lists with tens of thousands of accounts.

Contact Data Quality and Match Rates

Explorium claims 97.8%+ company match accuracy. That figure measures matching a company from a domain, name or ticker, not whether an email will deliver.

For emails, the vendor says every address gets real-time SMTP and risk-score verification, with under 2% bounce. The product pages do not describe the method, and we found no independent bounce test.

Data pointWhat is claimedEvidence level
Database size150M+ companies, 800M+ professionalsVendor claim
Company match accuracy97.8%+Vendor claim
Email bounce rateUnder 2%Vendor claim, method not documented
Phone coveragePhones at 5 credits eachNo published hit rate

The practical risk is a single source. When Explorium has no record, you get a miss, and per the credit rules we broke down earlier, unavailable data can still cost credits.

Account Research and Business Events

Account research is the second strength. Enrichments cover firmographics, technographics, funding and acquisitions, workforce trends, LinkedIn activity and corporate hierarchies.

Business events add a timing layer: funding rounds, new offices, product launches, department headcount growth, layoffs, lawsuits and breaches. Prospect events cover role and company changes.

For a rep prepping 20 target accounts, one prompt can replace a lot of tab-hopping. For a team that needs the same research on 5,000 accounts every month, credit costs add up quickly.

Where Intent Signals Fall Short

Explorium lists three intent levels: emerging, high and very high. They are marked premium, and the public pages do not say which topics or sources feed them.

Business events also have a window. The docs note that events older than 90 days may not be captured, and samples cap at 3 events per entity.

That is fine for a timing nudge. It is thin if you want a repeatable signal playbook, like job changes, hiring spikes and social engagement triggering a workflow automatically. Our roundup of buying intent data tools shows how much deeper dedicated intent products go.

Outbound Handoff: CRM, Sequencing and Export

This is the biggest gap. The pricing page and MCP docs describe CSV export, hub storage for datasets and CSV upload for enrichment, but no native HubSpot or Salesforce sync.

There is no sequencing, no deduplication against your CRM and no write-back of updated fields. The Custom plan adds API access, but you build the plumbing yourself.

Many teams close the loop with Claude-driven workflows, which works for ad-hoc campaigns. It does not replace a synced system of record.

Vibe Prospecting Pricing: What You Actually Pay

Pricing follows the official pricing page. Paid plans are one-time purchases, not subscriptions, and they apply to Claude only.

PlanPriceCreditsCost per 1,000 credits
Free$0200 per month$0
Plus$29.90900about $33
Boost$89.993,000about $30
Ultra$199.998,000about $25
Elite$649.9930,000about $22

An email costs 2 credits, a phone 5 and a company or prospect record 1. A contact with a company record, email and phone costs 8 credits, so $29.90 buys roughly 112 full contacts.

That works out to about $0.27 per fully revealed contact on the Plus plan. Paid credits expire after 12 months and are non-refundable.

Who Should Use Vibe Prospecting AI

Good fit: founders, consultants and GTM engineers who already live in Claude and prospect in bursts. Researchers who want quick account context also benefit.

Poor fit: SDR teams that need verified emails and direct dials every week, with leads landing in HubSpot or Salesforce automatically.

Independent reviewers have raised similar points: point-in-time data gaps, expiring credits, and a product built more for AI-agent workflows than for SDR desks. Treat that as one input, since the most detailed critiques come from competing tools. You can read user ratings on the Capterra listing.

Vibe Prospecting vs SyncGTM

Disclosure: SyncGTM is our product. The comparison below covers the three gaps called out above: signals, coverage and handoff.

CapabilityVibe ProspectingSyncGTM
Data sourcingExplorium (single source)Waterfall across 50+ providers
Intent and signalsBusiness events, premium intent levels15 intent signals
CRM syncNone documented; CSV and API2-way HubSpot and Salesforce sync
Billing modelOne-time credit packs, 12-month expirySee the pricing page

Waterfall enrichment tries one provider after another until it finds a verified result, which directly addresses the single-source miss problem. Our guide to waterfall contact providers explains the approach in depth.

Vibe Prospecting still wins on conversational research inside Claude and on its low-commitment free tier. If you want both, many teams use SyncGTM for the synced pipeline and a prompt-based tool for one-off research.

Vibe Prospecting Pros and Cons

Pros

  • + Prompt-to-list in one step, with a preview before export
  • + Broad enrichment and business-event coverage
  • + Free tier with 200 monthly credits
  • + One-time packs suit bursty usage
  • + You approve the credit cost before every export

Cons

  • − Email verification method not documented
  • − Intent levels are premium, event window is about 90 days
  • − No native CRM sync or sequencing
  • − Single data source, so misses are final
  • − 1,000-result cap per query, credits expire

Final Verdict

Vibe Prospecting AI earns 3.7/5. It is a fast, pleasant way to go from an idea to a filtered list, and its account research is genuinely useful.

It falls short where outbound gets real: proven email verification, deeper intent and a clean handoff into your CRM. Run a 100-contact test on your own ICP before you buy a large pack.

If those gaps are dealbreakers, SyncGTM is one alternative worth a look, with waterfall enrichment across 50+ providers and 2-way HubSpot and Salesforce sync.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Vibe Prospecting AI?

Vibe Prospecting is an AI prospecting product built on Explorium's B2B data. You describe your target accounts and contacts in plain language inside Claude or ChatGPT, and it returns matching companies and people from a claimed 150M+ company and 800M+ professional dataset.

Is Vibe Prospecting accurate?

Explorium publishes a 97.8%+ company match accuracy claim and says every email gets real-time SMTP and risk-score checks with under 2% bounce. Those are vendor claims, and the verification method is not documented on the product pages, so test a 100-contact sample against your own ICP before you scale.

Does Vibe Prospecting have intent signals?

Yes, but they sit mostly on the business-event and premium side. Explorium documents events such as funding, hiring growth, new products and role changes, plus premium intent levels (emerging, high, very high). Events older than 90 days may not be captured.

Does Vibe Prospecting integrate with HubSpot or Salesforce?

The pricing page and the public MCP documentation do not list a native HubSpot or Salesforce sync. Output moves through CSV export and Explorium's hub storage, and the Custom plan adds API access.

How much does Vibe Prospecting cost?

The free plan gives 200 credits per month. Paid top-ups are one-time purchases: $29.90 for 900 credits, $89.99 for 3,000, $199.99 for 8,000 and $649.99 for 30,000, each valid for 12 months. An email costs 2 credits and a phone number costs 5.

What is the best Vibe Prospecting alternative?

It depends on the gap. For multi-provider coverage and CRM sync, look at waterfall platforms such as SyncGTM, which queries 50+ providers and syncs two ways with HubSpot and Salesforce. For a broader roundup, see our guide to waterfall contact providers.
