Dear friends,
On the morning of August 26, a glacier collapsed on the border between Nepal and China. Rock, ice and mud fell into the Bhote Koshi and sent a flood down the valley into Rasuwa. It destroyed bridges, the highway, hydropower infrastructure and entire villages. Several communities remain reachable only by helicopter. The number of dead and missing is still rising, so we have not put a figure on this page that would be out of date by the time you read it.
First, for everyone who has written to ask: every member of the SyncGTM team is safe, and so are their families. We are grateful, and very aware of how narrow the margin was.
Nepal is home for part of this team, so this is not a distant story for us. It is where colleagues and their families live.
The roads into Rasuwa are gone and helicopters are the only way in and out, so relief supplies are sitting in warehouses while they wait for transport. Funds reach the district faster: they let the teams already on the ground buy tarpaulin, rice and fuel from whoever can still deliver there this week.
The Government of Nepal has opened an official appeal through the Office of the Prime Minister for the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund. That is where we are pointing you first, because it is the account coordinating the search, airlifts and reconstruction.

2. Work with us — we give 30% away

If a fractional GTM engagement is already on your roadmap, start it this month. We are donating 30% of all revenue from our fractional GTM service in September 2026 to the Government of Nepal’s official relief fund. You get your outbound infrastructure, signals and agents built and managed; 30% of what you pay goes to relief in Rasuwa. We will publish the amount sent and the receipt at the end of the month.
How to actually send the money
International transfers into Nepal have a few steps that are easy to get wrong. Here is the process for each of the common services.
If an international transfer isn’t practical
In some countries a wire to a government account is slow or blocked by the sending bank. These organisations are operating in the affected districts, accept card payments, and issue receipts that employer matching programmes accept.

If you can’t give money
Three things still help. Check whether your employer matches donations, which doubles whatever is sent. Forward this page to someone who can give. And if you work with Nepali colleagues, contact them directly and ask how their families are — that will matter more in a month, once the coverage has moved on.
Rebuilding Rasuwa will take years, not weeks. We will keep this page up and update the links here if the official channels change.
