Growbots Review 2026: Outbound Prospecting Pricing and Verdict

Kushal Magar

By Kushal Magar · October 18, 2026 · 14 min read

Key Takeaway

Growbots combines a 180M+ contact database, cold email sequencing, and Warmbots warm-up in one tool. Self-serve plans start from $29 (Starter) and $39 (Pro), plus prospect credits from $0.13 that reset every renewal date. The database excludes contacts in GDPR countries, Growbots publishes no accuracy figure, and reviewers report uneven data freshness. In 2026 the company leads with a done-for-you service. Our rating: 3.6/5. It suits small US-focused teams and is a poor fit for European outreach.

Growbots is an all-in-one outbound platform that pairs a 180M+ contact database with cold email sequences and built-in warm-up. In this Growbots review we rate it 3.6/5. It is cheap to start, with plans from $29 and prospect credits from $0.13, but the database excludes contacts in GDPR countries, credits expire every month, and user feedback on data freshness is mixed.

Most Growbots reviews that rank today are written by competing sequencers, and each ends by recommending the author's own tool. They also miss three things that change the buying decision. The database leaves out European contacts by design. Growbots quotes three different entry prices across its own website. And the 2026 homepage now sells a done-for-you lead generation service first and the software second.

This review covers the database, sequencing, deliverability features, tier-by-tier pricing with real monthly cost math, integrations, and what users say about data quality. We did not run a paid Growbots campaign for this review. Findings come from Growbots' published pricing, feature, and service pages (checked October 2026) and from user reviews on G2, Capterra, and Trustpilot. Vendor claims are labeled as claims.

What Is Growbots?

Growbots is an outbound sales platform founded in 2014. It went through the 500 Startups accelerator in San Francisco and has engineering roots in Poland. It combines three jobs that most teams buy separately: a B2B prospect database, a cold email sequencer, and an inbox warm-up tool called Warmbots.

The company says it has served 3,000+ customers over 11+ years, run 150,000+ campaigns, sent 300M+ emails, and generated $500M+ in customer revenue. Those are Growbots' own figures, and some pages still say 2,000+ customers, so treat them as marketing numbers rather than audited ones.

The target buyer is clear from the copy: small and medium-sized B2B businesses that want outbound pipeline without hiring an SDR team. In practice, that means founders, agencies, and lean sales teams selling mostly into North America.

The Growbots homepage now leads with a managed lead generation service rather than the self-serve software (October 2026).

Self-Serve Platform vs Done-for-You Service

Growbots now sells two different products under one brand: a self-serve software platform and a managed outbound service. Know which one you are evaluating before you book a demo.

The 2026 homepage headline reads “We Build Your Sales Pipeline. You Close Deals.” It describes a five-person team (strategist, researcher, copywriter, deliverability specialist, and RevOps) that runs email and LinkedIn campaigns for you. Growbots claims a 95% inbox placement rate, a first campaign within two weeks, cancel-anytime terms, and all-inclusive pricing that covers domains, inboxes, tools, data, and labor. The price itself is not listed.

The older Concierge program sits between the two. It is a three-month package that includes the platform subscription, deliverability setup, campaign design, ongoing A/B testing, and outreach to 2,000+ prospects on your behalf. Growbots' own FAQ is unusually frank about results: it says not to expect a positive ROI in the first three months and calls closing a deal in the first 90 days “improbable.”

That honesty is useful. If you need pipeline this quarter, the Concierge timeline will not get you there. If you want an outsourced team to find a working outbound formula over a quarter, it is a reasonable structure. The rest of this review focuses on the self-serve platform, because that is where the published pricing and feature details live.

Growbots Database: Coverage and Email Accuracy

The Growbots database holds 180M+ contacts by its own count, but it excludes everyone in GDPR countries and does not publish an accuracy rate. Coverage is strongest for North American small and mid-sized businesses.

Coverage

Growbots says each contact draws on 20 sources of information and describes the database as “self-healing,” meaning records update as campaigns send and bounce. One image caption on its site still says 160M+, so the headline figure has shifted over time.

The bigger issue is geography. Growbots' email finder page states that the database excludes contacts from countries covered by the General Data Protection Regulation. UK business emails are listed as coming soon, with a waitlist. If your ICP includes Germany, France, the Nordics, or the Netherlands, the database will not supply those contacts. You can import your own European lists and email them from Growbots, but you will need to handle the GDPR rules for B2B outreach yourself.

Filters

Starter includes basic filters: industry, finances, location, position, company size, and seniority. Pro adds department headcount, funding, direct dials, web technologies, web traffic, and whether the company has a mobile app. Hiring data and intent are a paid add-on on every tier. SalesRobot's review reported that add-on at $199/month, but Growbots does not publish the price.

Email accuracy and freshness

Growbots verifies emails continuously and refunds a credit when an email bounces because the address in its database was invalid. That refund policy is fair and matches what better data vendors offer. It does not publish an accuracy or bounce-rate figure.

User feedback fills the gap, and it is mixed. One G2 reviewer estimated lead validity at “around 75% to 90%.” Others wrote that “data accuracy can be an issue” or that emails landed in junk. Older Trustpilot reviews from 2018 and 2019 describe outdated data and very high bounce rates. Those complaints are old, but recent reviews have not replaced them with evidence of better data.

Practical advice: before scaling, export a sample of 100 to 200 contacts that match your ICP and run them through an independent verifier. If the invalid rate is above a few percent, budget for a second data source. Our guides to B2B email finder tools and waterfall email finders cover options that check multiple providers when one misses.

Sequencing and Outreach Features

Growbots' sequencer covers the standard cold email toolkit: multi-step sequences, A/B testing, spintax, reply tracking, and a shared inbox. LinkedIn and phone steps exist, but only as manual tasks on the Pro plan.

On paid plans you get unlimited sequences and steps, timezone detection, open, click, and reply tracking, a custom tracking domain, and a campaign-per-prospect safety setting that helps you avoid contacting the same person twice. Replies land in a shared inbox, and Growbots automatically unsubscribes anyone who asks to be removed.

Pro adds multichannel tasks. You can add LinkedIn touches, calls, and custom tasks to a sequence, but they are reminders for a rep to complete, not automated LinkedIn actions. Pro also adds an activity timeline per prospect.

Daily sending caps are 20 emails per inbox on Freemium, 100 on Starter, and 500 on Pro. Treat 500 as a ceiling, not a target. Most deliverability practitioners keep cold sends far lower per inbox and spread volume across several warmed domains, as covered in our email domain warm-up guide.

AI features: shipped vs coming soon

Live today: an AI email template generator (enter a company description and target audience, then adjust tone and length), an A/B variant generator, warm reply detection, and an Instant Target Finder that proposes a target from your website. Reviewers note the warm and cold reply classification is not always accurate.

Still marked coming soon on the pricing page as of October 2026: AI Prospecting, AI Email Personalizer, AI Responder, and Similar Companies Recommender. Do not buy on the strength of those four.

Deliverability: Warm-Up, Warmbots, and Fix My Email

Every Growbots plan includes a deliverability dashboard, gradual automatic warm-up, and DMARC, SPF, and DKIM checks. Domain and message deliverability tests require Starter or Pro.

The warm-up engine is also sold as a standalone tool, Warmbots. The first three inboxes are free, and each additional inbox costs $5 a month. Its site notes that Google banned warm-up tools from its platform and says Warmbots now connects to any provider over IMAP. If you run on Google Workspace, test the connection before you depend on it. Our roundup of cold email warm-up tools compares the main options.

For teams without technical help, Growbots sells Fix my email, a one-off setup service priced at $200 per domain. A $250 version also creates a new outbound domain, forwards it to your main domain, sets up three inboxes, connects them to warm-up, and adds them to Growbots.

One caution: reviewers on G2 and Capterra still report emails landing in junk. Warm-up helps, but list quality and sending volume matter more, which brings us back to the data freshness question.

Growbots Pricing in 2026: Plans, Credits, and Real Cost

As of October 2026, the Growbots pricing page lists Freemium (free), Starter Outreach (starting from $29), and Pro Outreach (starting from $39). Prospect credits are bought on top, from $0.13 per new prospect, and they reset on every renewal date.

The plan matrix below is compiled from the Growbots pricing page. The page lists the base prices with “starting from” and does not state the billing period or seat basis next to them, so confirm both in writing.

Paid add-onsNot publishedCustom data delivery, hiring data and intent.n/aCustom reports. Fix my email deliverability setup is $200 or $250 per domain.

How credits work

One credit is charged when you schedule or export a new prospect from the database. After that, you can email the prospect as many times as you like. Credits do not roll over. Growbots' FAQ says unused credits disappear on your renewal date and calls the policy “use it or lose it.” Each user seat includes one free email account, and extra sending accounts can be purchased, but the price is not published.

Three prices on one website

The pricing page says $29 and $39. The outreach feature page says outreach “starts at just $49/month.” The prospecting page says prospecting with the database “starts at just $199/month.” Older third-party listings describe an Outreach plan at $49 per user per month and an All-in-One plan at $199 per user per month. The $199 figure is roughly what Pro plus about 1,200 credits at the lowest rate would cost, which suggests it describes a bundle. Growbots does not say so, and its help center pricing articles currently return errors.

What you will actually pay

Because credits are separate, the base price understates the real cost. The estimates below use the lowest published credit price of $0.13. Actual per-credit pricing at small volumes is likely higher, and the totals exclude extra email accounts, add-ons, and Fix my email.

ScenarioCalculationEstimated Floor
Solo founder, 500 new prospects a monthStarter $29 + 500 × $0.13About $94/mo
Small team, 1,000 new prospects a month, CRM sync neededPro $39 + 1,000 × $0.13About $169/mo
Steady outbound, 2,500 new prospects a monthPro $39 + 2,500 × $0.13About $364/mo

Reviewers echo this. One G2 reviewer wrote that “pricing can quickly go out of hand,” and others flag per-email-account charges. The referral program takes some of the edge off: a referred customer gets 15% off, and the referrer earns 15% of that subscription, up to $2,000 per person.

Growbots pricing table showing Freemium free, Starter Outreach from $29, Pro Outreach from $39, and credits from $0.13 per prospect, with Salesforce and HubSpot bi-sync on Pro only
Growbots pricing table, October 2026. Credits start from $0.13 per prospect on every plan.

Growbots Integrations

Growbots connects natively to Salesforce and HubSpot on the Pro plan, to Zapier and BCC logging on Starter and Pro, and to any mailbox over Gmail, Outlook, or IMAP/SMTP.

  • Salesforce and HubSpot: two-way sync that matches, updates, and manages records through field mapping. Only admins can set it up, and it is Pro-only.
  • Pipedrive and other CRMs: through Zapier rather than a native connector.
  • Email providers: Gmail, Outlook, and any IMAP/SMTP provider on every plan.
  • API: the integrations page does not describe a public API, so plan on Zapier for custom workflows.

What Users Say in Growbots Reviews

Growbots scores well on the big review sites (4.5/5 on G2 and 4.7/5 on Capterra as of October 2026), but the written reviews repeat the same complaints about data accuracy, deliverability, and pricing.

PlatformRatingReview Count
G24.5 / 5About 140
Capterra4.7 / 549
TrustpilotTrustScore 3.68 (mostly 1-star)

What users like

  • Responsive, helpful support comes up again and again.
  • The interface is easy to pick up for basic list building and sequencing.
  • Having data, sending, and warm-up in one place saves setup time for small teams.

What users complain about

  • Data freshness:“data accuracy can be an issue,” lead validity “around 75% to 90%,” and older Trustpilot complaints about outdated records and heavy bounces.
  • No European contacts:one reviewer noted that “because of GDPR they don't have any European contacts.”
  • Deliverability: some emails go to junk despite warm-up.
  • Pricing: costs climb with credits and extra email accounts.
  • Analytics and AI:analytics “not always precise” and reply classification that misfires.
  • Product direction:one reviewer wrote that the “product has gone downhill over the past year,” and others want better training material.

The small Trustpilot sample is the harshest. A 2024 review describes spending $4,700 on a three-month contract with no meetings booked, and another from the same year complains about the lack of US-based technical support. One April 2026 review is 5-star. With eight reviews in total, read these as warning signs to check during a trial, not as a verdict. Sources: G2, Capterra, and Trustpilot.

Growbots Pros and Cons

Pros

  • ✓Database, sequencing, and warm-up in one login, so a small team can go from list to live campaign without stitching tools together.
  • ✓Low entry price: self-serve plans start from $29 and $39, and the Freemium plan lets you test sending and warm-up at no cost.
  • ✓Bounce refunds: credits come back when an email bounces because the address in the database was invalid.
  • ✓Pay once per prospect: one credit covers unlimited follow-ups to that contact.
  • ✓Sensible sequencing safeguards: out-of-office rescheduling, holiday blocks, and do-not-contact lists on paid plans, plus automatic unsubscribe when a prospect asks to be removed.
  • ✓Support gets consistent praise in G2 and Capterra reviews, and the Concierge and managed service options exist for teams that do not want to run outbound themselves.

Cons

  • ✗No contacts from GDPR countries in the database, and UK business emails are still on a waitlist as of October 2026.
  • ✗No published accuracy figure. Reviewers report outdated records, junk-folder placement, and lead validity estimates as low as 75%.
  • ✗Credits reset every renewal date, so a slow month wastes budget.
  • ✗Pricing is hard to pin down: the pricing page, outreach page, and prospecting page quote $29/$39, $49, and $199 entry points.
  • ✗Several headline AI features (AI Prospecting, AI Email Personalizer, AI Responder, Similar Companies Recommender) are still marked coming soon.
  • ✗Salesforce and HubSpot bi-sync, advanced filters, and direct dials are Pro-only, and Pipedrive needs Zapier.

Growbots vs Apollo, Instantly, Woodpecker, and lemlist

Apollo is the closest all-in-one alternative to Growbots. Instantly and Woodpecker are stronger pure sequencers, and lemlist is the better fit for European prospects. Starting prices below come from each vendor's site as covered in our individual reviews. Confirm current pricing before you buy.

  • Instantly: built for volume, with unlimited sending accounts and warm-up. Its lead database is billed separately. See our Instantly review.
  • Woodpecker: you pay per contacted prospect and bring your own list, which suits agencies and careful senders. See our Woodpecker review.
  • lemlist: deeper personalization, multichannel sequences, and a large database that covers European prospects. See our lemlist review.

Who Should Use Growbots?

Good fit

  • Founders and small sales teams selling into North America who want data, sequences, and warm-up in one low-cost tool.
  • Teams contacting a steady number of new prospects every month, so the monthly credit reset does not waste budget.
  • Businesses that want to outsource outbound and can wait a full quarter for the Concierge or managed service to find a working formula.

Poor fit

  • Teams selling into the EU or UK, because the database does not cover those contacts.
  • Teams that need automated LinkedIn steps rather than manual reminders.
  • Teams with lumpy outbound volume, who will lose unused credits every month.
  • Teams that need documented data accuracy or a public API.

Growbots Review: Final Verdict

Our rating: 3.6/5. Growbots is a capable, affordable all-in-one outbound tool for small, US-focused teams, held back by its EU-free database, expiring credits, unclear pricing, and mixed feedback on data freshness.

The fundamentals are sound. Bounce refunds, one credit per prospect, solid sequencing safeguards, and included warm-up make it easy to launch a first campaign cheaply. Support gets consistent praise.

The weaknesses are structural. The database excludes GDPR countries. Growbots publishes no accuracy figure, and reviewers estimate validity as low as 75%. Credits expire monthly, the company quotes three entry prices on its own site, and several AI features remain coming soon. The 2026 homepage also suggests the company's focus has moved toward its managed service.

If you are considering it, start on Freemium to test sending and warm-up. Then buy one month of Starter and run an export sample through a verifier before you commit to volume.

If Growbots' single database and missing EU contacts are a dealbreaker, SyncGTM is one alternative worth a look: it runs waterfall enrichment across 50+ data providers for verified emails and phone numbers.
