Founded in 2008, Ply began as a brand and creative agency built on the belief that collaboration—like the layers of molded plywood—can create something stronger, more flexible, and more impactful than the sum of its parts. Inspired by the craftsmanship behind skateboard decks and iconic furniture design, our name is a nod to the power of layering ideas, people, and processes with intention. Today, Ply has evolved into a parent company and incubator for purpose-driven brands, ventures, and creative projects. We exist to build, support, and scale ideas that matter—whether through launching our own brands or empowering others to bring theirs to life. Ply is currently home to two companies. Chapter — A modern creative agency helping brands find and build their story with clarity and purpose, tell powerful stories, and move culture. Apart — An outdoor brand focused on connection through movement, community, and design.
