Lake B2B Review 2026: B2B Email Lists, Data Quality and Pricing
By Kushal Magar · October 20, 2026 · 14 min read
Key Takeaway
Lake B2B sells custom B2B email lists, data APIs, and done-for-you campaigns. Its strongest lists cover healthcare (14.7M US records), manufacturing (12.2M US records), and technology install data. Pricing is quote-only, with a free 25-contact sample and a 500-contact pilot. Accuracy claims range from 95% to 100% across its own pages, guarantee terms are not public, and only 45% of US healthcare records include an email. Public reviews are positive but few (about 25). Our rating: 3.3/5. Buy it for one-off vertical lists, and only after testing a sample.
Lake B2B is a custom B2B data vendor that sells email lists, data APIs, and managed outreach campaigns, with its deepest coverage in healthcare, manufacturing, and technology install data. After reading Lake B2B reviews on G2, Trustpilot, and Clutch and checking its list pages, we rate it 3.3/5. The vertical lists and free samples are real strengths, but pricing is quote-only and the accuracy claims change from page to page.
Most Lake B2B reviews that rank today come from agencies selling competing outbound services. None of them check the numbers on Lake B2B's own list pages.
We did, and three things change the buying decision. Under half of its US healthcare records include an email address. Its accuracy promise reads 95%, 97%+, or 100% depending on which page you land on. And its technology list counts share an identical ratio across two regions, which is worth asking about before you pay.
We did not buy a Lake B2B list for this review. Findings come from Lake B2B's homepage and list pages (checked October 2026) and from reviews on G2, Trustpilot, Clutch, and ComplaintsBoard. Vendor claims are labeled as claims.
What Is Lake B2B?
Lake B2B (also written LakeB2B) is a B2B data and marketing services company whose homepage headline reads “Custom B2B Data. Built For Outreach.” It sells data as list files or through an API, and it will also run the campaign for you.
The company lists US addresses in Dover, Delaware and Beaverton, Oregon, with offices in Bengaluru, London, Dubai, Singapore, and Tokyo. Clutch lists a 2005 founding date and 250 to 999 employees.
Lake B2B claims 800M+ contacts, 343M+ company sites, and coverage across 243+ countries. Elsewhere on the same homepage it cites 450M+ verified business profiles, so read the headline figure as total records, not verified ones.
It also says it has more than 7,000 clients and adds about 1,800 new customers a year. Those are Lake B2B's own figures.
| Product line | What Lake B2B offers | Notable gaps |
|---|---|---|
| List data | Custom B2B lists, healthcare data, and technology install data by geography, industry, title, and size. | No self-serve list builder with live counts and prices. |
| Data APIs | Company API and People API. A Job API is marked coming soon. | No public API pricing or documentation of refresh cadence. |
| Data services | Enrichment, data hygiene (append and cleanse), and data licensing. | Match rates are not published. |
| Marketing services | Email campaigns, webinars and events, ABM, content syndication, and lead generation. | Campaign pricing and reporting standards are not public. |

Lake B2B Email Lists: Healthcare, Tech and Manufacturing
Lake B2B's email lists are strongest in healthcare, manufacturing, and technology install data, and each list page publishes record counts you can check. The table below copies those counts as of October 2026 and adds the share of records that carry an email address.
| List | Total records | Records with email | Stated refresh | Accuracy claim |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Healthcare (USA) | 14,722,906 records | 6,638,175 with email (45%) | Quarterly SMTP and NCOA checks, plus phone verification | “100% accurate” and a 95% deliverability guarantee |
| Healthcare (International) | 6,613,826 records | 3,322,530 with email (50%) | Same healthcare verification claims | Same as above |
| Technology install (USA) | 6,128,528 company records | 22,059,910 email contacts | “Updated monthly” | “100% verified” and 95% delivery guaranteed |
| Technology install (International) | 4,085,685 company records | 14,706,607 email contacts | “Updated monthly” | Same as above |
| Manufacturing (USA) | 12,240,163 records | 8,899,376 with email (73%) | “Updated monthly” | 97%+ accuracy standard, under 2% bounce rate support |
| Manufacturing (International) | 9,892,673 records | 4,748,483 with email (48%) | “Updated monthly” | Same as above |
Healthcare email lists
The healthcare email lists are Lake B2B's flagship product. Selects include specialty, direct phone, fax, postal address, patient volume, and hospital affiliation, which suits pharma, medical device, and health IT marketers who mail and call as well as email.
The catch is email coverage. Only 6.6M of the 14.7M US records (45%) include an email address, so a healthcare list is often more useful for direct mail and phone than for cold email.
The same page also shows tiles for “1.42M+ Global Contact Data” and “5.8M+ Healthcare Profiles” next to the 14.7M-record table. Ask which number your order draws from. For outreach advice specific to this market, see our B2B healthcare sales playbook.
Technology install data
The technology users list tracks about 51 technology categories, including SAP, Salesforce, AWS, VMware, and Cisco users. Selects include tech stack, adoption stage, IT budget range, and SIC/NAICS code across 160+ countries.
One detail stands out. US emails divided by US companies (22,059,910 / 6,128,528) and international emails divided by international companies (14,706,607 / 4,085,685) both come to 3.5995, which is unusual for two independently counted datasets. Ask how those counts are produced before you rely on them for sizing a market.
Manufacturing email lists
The manufacturing email list has the best email coverage of the three: 8.9M of 12.2M US records (73%) include an email. Selects cover procurement, operations, and engineering titles, production category, and LinkedIn profile URLs.
Lake B2B also sells education, oil and gas, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and medical device manufacturer email lists. The same checks apply to each of them.

Data Quality: Accuracy Claims, Bounce Rates and Data Age
Lake B2B promises 95% to 100% accuracy and roughly 95% deliverability, but the exact promise depends on the page and no independent audit or written guarantee terms are published. Treat each figure as a sales claim to negotiate into your contract.
| Lake B2B page | Accuracy claim | Deliverability or bounce claim | Refresh claim |
|---|---|---|---|
| Homepage | 95% Data Accuracy Commitment | Not stated (20% average open rate cited) | Not stated |
| Healthcare email lists | 100% accurate, 100% telephone and email verified | 95% deliverability guarantee | Quarterly SMTP and NCOA, 1.2M verification calls a month |
| Technology users list | 100% verified database | 95% delivery guaranteed | Updated monthly |
| Manufacturing email list | 97%+ data accuracy standard | Under 2% bounce rate support | Updated monthly |
Bounce rates
A 95% deliverability guarantee still allows up to 5% of addresses to fail. That is well above the 2% hard-bounce ceiling most cold email teams work to, a ceiling Lake B2B itself uses on its manufacturing page.
The customer evidence is limited but positive. One Clutch client reported deliverability above 95%, and a Trustpilot reviewer wrote that Lake B2B will “replace the ones that bounce back.” Ask for the replacement window and process in writing, because no policy page spells it out.
Bounces also hurt more than the list cost. Gmail's email sender guidelines tell senders to cut volume when messages start bouncing and to keep spam rates below 0.10%. Our guide to soft bounces explains which failures are temporary and which mean the address is gone.
Data age
A purchased list is a snapshot, and it starts aging the day it lands in your inbox. The US Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that median employee tenure was 4.1 years in January 2026, so a steady share of any contact file changes employer every month.
Lake B2B says its technology and manufacturing lists are updated monthly and its healthcare data gets quarterly SMTP and NCOA checks. NCOA is the USPS change-of-address file, so it keeps postal addresses current but does nothing for email addresses.
Every list page we checked carried the same “last updated: September 18, 2026” stamp. Read that as a page update, not proof that each record was re-verified that day, and ask for a last-verified date per record.
Public reviews rarely complain about stale records by name. The risk shows up after delivery: a file you use for six months is a six-month-old file by the end, so plan to re-verify before every send. Our roundup of email list hygiene tools covers the options.
Lake B2B Pricing: What You Actually Pay
Lake B2B pricing is quote-only: there is no pricing page, no rate card, and no published minimum. Third-party comparisons describe typical minimum orders in the four figures, so budget accordingly.
The commercial models reported for Lake B2B include project-based list purchases, annual subscriptions, usage-based download credits, success-based pricing, and a pilot that converts into a contract. On Clutch its services list an hourly rate under $25, which applies to campaign work rather than data.
Two free entry points are worth using. The homepage offers a free sample of 25 verified contacts, and Lake B2B runs a 500-contact pilot campaign before a full engagement.
Cost per deliverable email: the number that matters
A per-record price looks cheap until you count how many records can actually receive an email. The table uses a hypothetical quote of $2,500 for 10,000 records ($0.25 per record), Lake B2B's own email coverage figures, and its 95% deliverability claim.
| List (10,000 records) | Share with email | Emails you get | Deliverable at 95% | Cost per deliverable email |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Healthcare (USA) | 45.1% | 4,509 | 4,283 | $0.58 |
| Healthcare (International) | 50.2% | 5,024 | 4,772 | $0.52 |
| Manufacturing (USA) | 72.7% | 7,271 | 6,907 | $0.36 |
| Manufacturing (International) | 48.0% | 4,800 | 4,560 | $0.55 |
Illustrative math only. $2,500 is not a Lake B2B price. Coverage figures come from Lake B2B's list pages, checked October 2026.
On these assumptions, a US healthcare list costs more than twice its headline price per usable email. Ask whether the quote is per record or per record with a verified email, and get the answer in writing.
For comparison, our BookYourData review covers a self-serve vendor that publishes per-contact prices from $0.40, falling to about $0.20 at volume.
Compliance: GDPR, CAN-SPAM and Healthcare Lists
Lake B2B states its data is GDPR, CCPA, and CAN-SPAM compliant, shows GDPR and ICA certification badges, and links to Do Not Call and Do Not Sell policies. That covers how Lake B2B collects and sells data, not how you send to it.
The FTC's CAN-SPAM compliance guide says the law “makes no exception for business-to-business email.” Every message needs accurate headers, a physical address, and a working opt-out, with penalties up to $53,088 per violating email.
For EU contacts, GDPR Article 14 requires you to tell people where you got their data, at the latest in your first message. UK senders also need to follow the ICO's direct marketing guidance, which treats sole traders differently from companies.
Healthcare buyers often ask about HIPAA. HIPAA protects patient health information, not a physician's business email or office phone, so it is rarely the constraint on provider lists. CAN-SPAM and your own opt-out handling are.
What Lake B2B Reviews Say
Lake B2B reviews are mostly positive, averaging 4.5 to 4.8 stars, but there are only about 25 of them across G2, Trustpilot, and Clutch combined. That is a small sample for a company that claims 7,000+ clients.
| Platform | Rating | Volume | Main themes |
|---|---|---|---|
| G2 | 4.8 / 5 | 6 reviews | Breadth of fields, custom searches, pricing, healthcare and physician lists that performed |
| Trustpilot | 4.5 / 5 | 17 reviews | Fast responses, bounce replacement, one 1-star review (June 2024) alleging no proof that emails were sent |
| Clutch | 4.5 / 5 | 2 reviews | Good value, one client reporting deliverability above 95% |
| ComplaintsBoard | 1.0 / 5 | 2 complaints, 0 resolved | July 2025: delivered database “severely diverged from the agreed scope” |
Ratings checked October 2026 on G2, Trustpilot, Clutch, and ComplaintsBoard.
What buyers like
- Service speed.Trustpilot reviewers describe a fast, helpful team and work delivered “correctly and on time.”
- Custom builds. G2 reviewers like the range of searchable fields and the willingness to add fields or run custom searches.
- Healthcare results. One G2 reviewer said the healthcare and physician lists worked well for their campaigns.
- Value.Clutch reviewers rate cost 4.3/5, and a Trustpilot reviewer called it an “extremely cost effective approach.”
Complaints: scope, proof of delivery, and data age
- Scope mismatch.A July 2025 ComplaintsBoard buyer said the delivered database “severely diverged from the agreed scope” and that a follow-up email went unanswered. It is listed as unresolved.
- Campaign proof.A June 2024 Trustpilot reviewer who paid by bank transfer said there was “no evidence that a single email went out” and questioned the open-rate data they received. The reviewer also alleged a “flood of fake reviews.” The claim is unverified and the page shows no company response.
- Data age. We found no public review that complains about outdated records by name. With so few reviews, absence of evidence is weak evidence, and the structural decay covered above still applies.
Trustpilot also notes Lake B2B has not recently invited reviews, so the sample is self-selected. Weigh the two detailed negative reports more heavily than their share of the star count suggests.
Lake B2B Pros and Cons
Pros
- Deep vertical lists in healthcare, manufacturing, and technology install data, with selects such as specialty, hospital affiliation, patient volume, tech stack, IT budget range, and SIC/NAICS code.
- A free 25-contact sample and a 500-contact pilot campaign let you test before you commit.
- Custom builds: upload 50 example records and Lake B2B builds a list that matches them.
- Flexible commercial models: project, subscription, usage-based, pilot, and success-based.
- Can run the campaign for you (email, webinars, ABM, content syndication) or deliver data through Company and People APIs.
- Reviewers consistently praise responsiveness, and several mention that bounced records get replaced.
Cons
- No public pricing. Everything is quoted, and third-party comparisons report four-figure minimum orders.
- Accuracy claims change from page to page (95%, 97%+, and 100%), and the guarantee terms are not published.
- By Lake B2B's own counts, only 45% of US healthcare records include an email address.
- Delivered files start aging the day you receive them, and NCOA checks refresh postal addresses, not emails.
- About 25 public reviews in total across G2, Trustpilot, and Clutch, which is thin for a vendor claiming 7,000+ clients.
- An unresolved 2025 complaint says a delivered database diverged from the agreed scope.
How to Test a Lake B2B List Before You Pay
The safest way to buy from Lake B2B is to test a sample built on your exact ICP, then run the 500-contact pilot, before you sign anything larger. These six steps take about a week.
- Ask for an ICP-specific sample. Request the free sample using your real filters (titles, specialties, regions, company size), not a generic file.
- Verify every email. Run the sample through an email verifier and count hard bounces and catch-all domains. Walk away if hard bounces exceed 2%. Our NeverBounce review covers one option.
- Spot-check 10 records by hand. Confirm the current employer and title on LinkedIn. For healthcare records, look up the provider in the free CMS NPI Registry to check the practice address and specialty.
- Get the terms in writing. Per-record or per-email pricing, the accuracy guarantee definition, the replacement window, the last-verified date per record, and the sources used.
- Run the pilot. Measure hard bounces, spam complaints, and replies on the 500-contact pilot, and insist on raw send logs if Lake B2B sends on your behalf.
- Re-verify before every send. After 30 days, treat the file as unverified and clean it again before the next campaign.

Who Should Use Lake B2B?
Good fit
- Healthcare, pharma, and medical device marketers who run multichannel campaigns and need fax, postal, and specialty fields alongside email.
- Industrial and manufacturing marketers who need procurement and engineering contacts that general sales databases cover thinly.
- Teams buying a one-off list for an event, product launch, or market test, who can verify it themselves.
- Companies that want the campaign run for them and will insist on raw send logs.
Poor fit
- SDR teams that need fresh, self-serve data every week rather than a delivered file.
- Buyers who need transparent, published pricing.
- Teams without an email verification step in their workflow.
- Outbound programs focused on the EU or UK that need documented data sourcing for every record.
Lake B2B Review: Final Verdict
Our rating: 3.3/5. Lake B2B is a capable source of vertical B2B email lists, especially in healthcare and manufacturing, held back by quote-only pricing, accuracy claims that shift from page to page, low email coverage on some lists, and a thin public review record.
The strengths are real. Rich selects, free samples, a 500-contact pilot, custom lookalike builds, and responsive service make it easy to try before you commit.
The weaknesses are about trust and decay. You cannot see a price, the guarantee terms are not public, and a delivered file starts aging immediately.
If you are considering Lake B2B, use it the way the six-step test above describes. Pay for one well-defined list, verify it on receipt, and only scale once the pilot numbers hold up.
If static list files that start aging on delivery are a dealbreaker, SyncGTM is one alternative worth a look: it runs waterfall enrichment across 50+ data providers for verified emails and phone numbers.
