Real-Time LinkedIn Prospect Data, Now Inside Claude and ChatGPT
Tired of stale prospect data? By the time you enrich a lead, their role has changed, their company is hiring, or they're already engaging somewhere else.
Most enrichment data is a snapshot taken weeks or months ago. It tells you who someone was, not what they're doing this week. And this week is what decides whether your message lands.
Today we're launching real-time prospect data endpoints in the SyncGTM MCP server. Claude and ChatGPT can now pull live data straight from LinkedIn: what a prospect posted, liked, and commented on, who is engaging with a post, what a company page is publishing, which roles are open, and whether someone just changed jobs or got promoted.
No scraping. No building tables. No jumping between tools. Just ask. Then turn any prompt into a scheduled agent that runs on its own.
Quick Summary
SyncGTM's MCP server now exposes real-time LinkedIn endpoints to Claude and ChatGPT. You can ask for a prospect's recent posts, the posts they liked or commented on, the people engaging with any post, a company page's latest activity and headcount trends, fresh LinkedIn job openings, and job-change or promotion signals. Each endpoint is billed in SyncGTM credits, connects with a browser sign-in, and any prompt can be saved as a scheduled agent.
TL;DR
- Claude and ChatGPT can now call live LinkedIn endpoints through the SyncGTM MCP
- Read a prospect's recent posts, reactions, and comments before you reach out
- Pull everyone who reacted to or commented on a post as a warm lead list
- Track company page posts, headcount, and hiring momentum from a LinkedIn page URL
- Search fresh LinkedIn job openings and catch job changes and promotions as they happen
- Setup is a browser sign-in with no API key, and any prompt can run on a schedule
What's new
The SyncGTM MCP already handled sourcing and enrichment: finding people, finding companies, and filling in emails and phone numbers. This release adds the layer that was missing, which is what your prospects are doing right now.
Each endpoint fetches the data when you call it instead of reading from a cached database. Your assistant picks the right endpoint from a plain-English request, calls it, and works with the result in the same conversation. You can summarize a prospect's last ten posts, draft an opener from a comment they left yesterday, or turn a post's commenters into a list, all without leaving the chat.
Every endpoint below links to its docs page, where you'll find the full input schema, example prompts, and output fields.
See what a prospect posts, likes, and comments on
These three endpoints answer the question every rep asks before writing a first line: what does this person actually care about?
| Endpoint | What it returns | Input | Cost |
|---|---|---|---|
linkedin_profile_posts | Recent posts the person authored, with content, engagement counts, and timestamps (up to 100 per call) | Profile URL | 0.3 credits per post |
linkedin_profile_reactions | Posts the person liked, celebrated, or reposted, with author, content, and engagement | Profile URL | 0.2 credits per reaction |
linkedin_profile_comments | Comments the person left on other people's posts, with replies and parent-post context | Profile URL | 0.2 credits per comment |
Try: "Pull the last month of posts, reactions, and comments for linkedin.com/in/janedoe and tell me the three topics she cares about most." Reactions are often the only signal you get from prospects who never post, which makes linkedin_profile_reactions the quiet workhorse of this set.
Find the people engaging with a post
Every competitor launch, industry hot take, and creator post in your niche has an audience that just raised its hand. These endpoints turn that audience into a list.
| Endpoint | What it returns | Input | Cost |
|---|---|---|---|
linkedin_post_engagers | People who reacted to a post (likes, celebrates, and other reactions), paged one to ten | Post URL | 0.3 credits per call |
linkedin_post_commenters | People who commented on a post, sorted by relevance or recency | Post URL | 0.3 credits per call |
Try: "Get everyone who commented on this post, keep the VPs and heads of sales at companies with 50 to 500 employees, and find their work emails." The engagement leads agent walks through this workflow end to end.
Track company activity
Point your assistant at a LinkedIn company page and it can tell you what the company is announcing, how big each team is, and whether it's growing or shrinking.
| Endpoint | What it returns | Input | Cost |
|---|---|---|---|
linkedin_page_posts | Recent posts from a company page, with content, engagement, and timestamps (up to 100) | Company page URL | 0.3 credits per call |
enrich_linkedin_page | Company description, specialties, and employee count | LinkedIn page URL or identifier | 0.5 credits |
premium_linkedin_page_insights | Growth trends, hiring patterns, and employee distribution | LinkedIn page URL or identifier | 3 credits |
headcount_by_department | Total headcount, or headcount for a single department, as a point-in-time snapshot | LinkedIn page URL | 2 credits per call |
head_count_growth_rate | How employee headcount has moved over time | LinkedIn page URL | 2 credits per call |
Try: "What has Acme posted on LinkedIn in the last two weeks, and is their sales team growing?"
Discover fresh job openings
A new open role is one of the clearest buying signals you can get. A company hiring its first RevOps lead is about to buy tooling, and you want to be in that conversation early.
| Endpoint | What it returns | Input | Cost |
|---|---|---|---|
search_linkedin_job_openings | LinkedIn jobs across every company, filtered by title, function, industry, company size, salary, and more | Job title plus optional filters | 0.3 credits per job |
company_job_openings | Open roles at one company | Company LinkedIn URL or domain | 0.3 credits per call |
job_openings_growth_rate | How a company's open job postings have moved over time | LinkedIn page URL | 3 credits per call |
Try: "Find companies with 50 to 200 employees that posted a Head of Revenue Operations role this week, then find the VP of Sales at each." See the hiring signals agent for a ready-made version.
Catch job changes and promotions
Stale contact data costs you twice: messages bounce, and you miss the moment a champion lands somewhere new with a fresh budget. These endpoints check a person's LinkedIn profile live.
| Endpoint | What it returns | Input | Cost |
|---|---|---|---|
check_job_change | Whether the person recently changed jobs | Profile URL | 2 credits per check |
check_promotions | Whether the person was recently promoted | Profile URL | 2 credits per check |
linkedin_profile_enrich | Full profile: complete work history, education, and skills | Profile URL | 1 credit per profile |
Try: "Check these 40 closed-won champions for job changes and tell me who moved to a new company." The profile signals agent shows how to run this across a list.
Start from an email instead of a profile URL
Most of the endpoints above need a LinkedIn URL. If all you have is an email from a form fill or a CRM record, these two lookups find the profile first.
| Endpoint | What it returns | Input | Cost |
|---|---|---|---|
find_linkedin_from_work_email | The person's LinkedIn profile URL, found via a waterfall across providers | Work email | 2 credits per lookup |
find_linkedin_from_personal_email | The person's LinkedIn profile URL, found via a waterfall across providers | Personal email | 2 credits per lookup |
Try: "Here are 20 inbound signups. Find each person's LinkedIn profile, then check what they posted this month."
Turn any prompt into a scheduled agent
A prompt that works once is useful. The same prompt running every morning is a system.
Once a request gives you what you want, save it as a scheduled agent that runs hourly, daily, or weekly without a manual trigger. A few that teams set up first:
Monday champion check: run check_job_change across last quarter's closed-won contacts and post anyone who moved to Slack.
Daily competitor watch: pull new commenters on a competitor's company page posts with linkedin_page_posts and linkedin_post_commenters, then add the ICP matches to a list.
Hiring trigger feed: search new RevOps and sales leadership roles with search_linkedin_job_openings each morning and draft a first-touch email for each company.

How to get started
The endpoints are live now for every SyncGTM account. Setup takes about two minutes:
1. Add the SyncGTM MCP server to your assistant. Follow the guide for Claude, ChatGPT, or any other MCP client.
2. Sign in through your browser. There's no API key to copy or rotate.
3. Ask. Paste a LinkedIn profile, post, or company URL and say what you want to know.
Credits are drawn from your SyncGTM balance at the rates in the tables above. Ask your assistant to run check_credits at any time; it's free. The full tool reference covers every endpoint.
