Returns a monthly website traffic figure for a company domain at 1 credit, so you can rank and tier an account list before deeper enrichment.
`find_company_website_traffic` is a SyncGTM MCP tool that takes one company website domain and returns that site's traffic as a monthly visits figure, for a flat 1 credit. It is the cheapest of the three traffic tools on the server, and it runs as a provider-agnostic waterfall rather than a single named source. Use it to rank and tier an account list first, then spend `semrush_insights` or `similarweb_insights` at 2 credits on the top slice only.
Takes one input: `domain`. That is the only parameter — no date range, no country split, no multi-domain array. Pass a bare registrable domain like `stripe.com`, not a landing-page URL with a path or UTM parameters.
Returns the traffic figure for that domain. The documented response is `domain` plus `monthly_visits` — `stripe.com` comes back as 24,000,000.
Runs as a provider-agnostic waterfall, so it is not tied to one data source and field detail can vary between domains. If a report needs one consistent named-source metric on every row, use `semrush_insights` or `similarweb_insights` instead.
Does not return organic keywords, backlinks, traffic sources, engagement rates or a competitor set. Those are `semrush_insights` (2 credits, one domain per call) and `similarweb_insights` (2 credits per call, `domains` is an array).
Does not return firmographics, contacts, emails or phone numbers. Use `enrich_organization` (2 credits) for industry, size and funding, and `find_people_within_company` (1.5 credits) for the people.
Costs 1 credit per lookup, flat, one call per domain. A 200-domain list costs 200 credits, so spend tracks domains attempted, not figures returned.

Pass a bare domain. `stripe.com`, not `https://stripe.com/pricing?utm_source=blog`. A malformed URL still spends the credit.
Cap the batch, deduplicate first, and ask for the credit total. "Stop after 50 and report credits used" keeps a 900-domain paste from becoming a 900-credit run, and two rows with the same domain are two credits for one answer.
Escalate on a slice, never the whole list. Traffic-rank everything at 1 credit, then escalate the top 10 to 20 rows — `semrush_insights` bills 2 credits per domain because it takes one domain per call, while `similarweb_insights` bills 2 credits per call and takes a `domains` array, so batch that whole slice into one call.
Expect variation between rows. The waterfall pulls from whichever provider answers, so field detail differs by domain. If a report needs one consistent named-source metric on every row, use `semrush_insights` or `similarweb_insights` instead.
Do not score fit on traffic alone. It is a proxy for scale, not for ICP fit — pair it with `enrich_organization` for industry, size and funding.
