Overview

mcp-people-search covers the four person-search tools and the choice between them: find_people across many companies at 0.3 credits per result, find_people_within_company at a flat 0.3 for one known account, and the two reverse lookups from a work or personal email. It maps a plain-English ask onto real parameter names — seniority_levels, current_company_headcount_ranges, person_countries — caps the run, and returns profiles unenriched so filtering stays free.

How it works

  1. 1

Picks the cheapest tool for the shape of the ask, and explains why a flat 0.3 beats 0.3-per-result when the question is about one company

  2. 2

Maps the ask onto real parameters across role, company, size, location, tenure, signal and paging filter families

  3. 3

Rejects free text where an enum is expected — c_suite and vp are values, 'C-level' is not

  4. 4

Runs capped at limit 25 and states the page cap before any cursor paging

  5. 5

Filters in context for free, then outputs a profile table with an explicit 'not enriched yet' note and the cost of the next step
